Windows on ARM
Frontier Analyst is software that uses the Windows operating system for its user interface and storage. Windows has traditionally been run on Intel “x86” processors, and more recently the “x64” 64-bit versions. Frontier Analyst is a 32-bit application, and has run happily on Intel. A newer processor type, “ARM”, is becoming popular so we have done testing with the “Windows on ARM” version of Windows. This software has facilities to allow x86 software to continue to work on ARM processors, and so existing software for Intel processors can be used.
We are happy to say that Frontier Analyst is able to operate happily on the current Windows on ARM without modification. In the event that you find an issue with running our products on Windows on ARM, please let us know. Thank you.

Version 4.2 update now available
Frontier Analyst 4.2 is now available to licensed users as an update. It fixes a number of minor issues that were reported using our bug-reporting system (thank you for sending them in), as well as a few enhancements that were suggested by users. The user interface is now updated too.
Notable changes include:
- You can now link the reports to the group review selections, to reduce the output to those units selected. Both windows must be open for this to operate.
- Reports can now include malmquist values.
- Copy to clipboard and save as excel added to more tables.
- [Update] A fix for a reporting issue is now available, in build 322.
Update only via full download
To install the update, users of versions prior to v4.2 must download using the normal download details – you cannot get this through the automatic update. Please then uninstall the previous version before installing the new one. We have changed installer technology to improve compatibility with oriental operating system versions, so it cannot properly update an existing install. Future 4.2 updates will use the normal update mechanism.
If you do not have your install code and download details from when you purchased Frontier Analyst, please email us at info@banxia.com and we will help you locate them.
